Why I started this.
I grew up in the Grapevine area and spent years watching homeowners get burned by out-of-town companies that showed up late, quoted one price, and charged another. Junk removal is not a complicated business. You show up, you haul it, you leave the place clean. That's it.
I started Elrod Junk Removal because I thought I could do it right. No hidden fees. No runaround. No sending a crew that doesn't know the neighborhood. Just a local truck, a local team, and a straight-up price.
What we do differently.
Every job gets quoted on the phone before we schedule anything. I've turned down plenty of customers who called expecting me to just show up and assess on the spot, then hit them with a price after the truck's already in the driveway. That's not how we operate. You know what you're paying before we ever pull up.
We also don't landfill things that don't need to go there. If a piece of furniture is in decent shape, it goes to a local donation center. Appliances that can be recycled get recycled. The dump is the last stop, not the first.
The area we know.
We're based out of 2802 N Creekwood Dr in Grapevine. We cover Southlake, Colleyville, Euless, Bedford, Hurst, Keller, Flower Mound, Coppell, Irving, Fort Worth, Arlington, and most of the DFW metro. We've hauled in all of them. If you're further out and have a big job, call anyway.
Hoarding and estate jobs.
A significant part of our work is hoarding cleanouts and estate clearouts. Families dealing with these situations are usually already dealing with a lot. We take those jobs seriously. No judgment, no commentary, no making it worse than it already is. We show up, we work, and we leave the space clear.
