Grapevine offers bulk item pickup through its solid waste service contractor. Residents schedule pickups in advance, items must be at the curb by 7am on your scheduled collection day. The city accepts furniture, appliances, and large household items. Hazardous materials, tires, and construction debris are not accepted. Contact Grapevine's Public Works department or call the city's utility billing line to schedule. Fort Worth
Fort Worth provides bulk item collection for single-family residential customers through the city's solid waste system. Items are typically collected once per month on or near your regular garbage day, check your zone schedule. Residents can also schedule additional bulk pickups through the city's online portal or by calling 311. The city accepts furniture and appliances but has limits on hazardous material, tires, and construction waste. Fort Worth is a large city with multiple collection zones, confirm your zone's schedule on the city website.
Arlington
Arlington offers bulk item pickup twice per year for residential customers as part of its standard service. For additional pickups, residents can schedule through the city's waste management contractor. Arlington uses an automated truck system for regular collection, bulk items must be set out separately and scheduled to ensure a different truck comes for them. Irving provides bulk trash pickup as part of residential solid waste service. Residents schedule bulk pickups in advance through the city or its contractor. Euless
Euless offers bulk item pickup on a scheduled basis. Contact the city's public works department or call utility services to schedule. Euless accepts furniture and large household items. Bedford provides bulk item collection through its solid waste service. Residents can schedule pickups through the city's utility billing department. Colleyville and Southlake are served by private waste management contractors through city contracts. What bulk pickup won't take in most DFW cities
Across virtually all DFW municipalities, city bulk pickup does not accept:
- Hazardous household waste, paint, chemicals, pesticides)
- Automotive tires, in large quantities)

- Items requiring special recycling, some electronics, certain appliances)
When to skip city pickup and call a junk crew
City bulk pickup makes sense for one or two items you're not in a hurry on. Call a junk crew when: you have more than a few items, you need it gone this week, not in two weeks, items are too heavy to move to the curb yourself, you have things the city won't take, or you're doing a full cleanout.
