Two options work well depending on your situation.

Before the moving truck arrives. Schedule junk removal the day before or morning of moving day. This clears out what you are leaving behind and gives you a clean space to stage what you are taking. You are not tripping over unwanted furniture while the movers are loading. This works best when you already know what is not coming with you.

After the moving truck leaves. Schedule junk removal for after the movers load and go. What remains in the empty house gets hauled. This works when you want to make final decisions after the moving truck is loaded and you can clearly see what is left. It also works for the classic situation: the truck left, the house is mostly empty, and you still have a pile in the garage.

Same-day moving day hauls

We take same-day moving day calls frequently. Movers leave, you look at what remains, and you call us. If you call before noon we can usually be there same day. After noon depends on the schedule. Call and ask. We will tell you honestly whether we can make it that day or what the earliest slot looks like.

What junk removal handles that movers do not

Moving companies move furniture and boxes to the new location. They do not haul old items to disposal. If you have a couch that is not making the move, a broken appliance, a garage full of accumulated debris, or general cleanout items, that is our territory. Coordinate both services to happen in sequence and the old place is empty and clean on the same day.

What about items you might want to donate?

If you have usable furniture or household goods that you want to see donated rather than disposed, tell us when you call. We separate those items and take them to local DFW donation centers before anything else goes to disposal. Salvation Army, Habitat ReStores, and others in the area accept furniture in reasonable condition. We do the donation trip as part of the haul.

Pricing for moving day hauls

Moving day hauls are priced the same as any other job, by volume. A typical moving day haul of items left behind in a 3-bedroom house runs $200 to $400. Just the garage left behind runs $150 to $300. We give you the number on the phone before we come out.
