North Texas yards generate a lot of debris: storm-downed branches, seasonal leaf accumulation, brush from cleared beds, old fencing, stumps that have been sitting for years, and the general outdoor clutter that builds up between seasons. Most of this won't fit in a regular trash bin and city brush pickup can take weeks. Here is what yard waste removal looks like in Grapevine and DFW.

What we haul from yards

  • Brush piles. Branches, limbs, and trimmings from trees or shrubs. We take what is already cut and down. We are not a tree service, so we do not climb trees or remove live standing trees. Debris that is already on the ground or cut is our territory.
  • Leaf and organic debris. Large accumulations of leaves, pine needles, and dead plant material that have gotten out of hand.
  • Old fencing. Wood, chain link, or metal fencing that has been removed and needs to go. We haul the fencing panels, posts, and any associated hardware.
  • Dead tree sections. Logs and large sections from a tree that has already been felled. We take sections that have been cut to a manageable size. Very large logs may need additional preparation before we can haul them.
  • Lawn equipment. Broken mowers, trimmers, rusted grills, and outdoor furniture past its useful life.
  • Shed debris. Combined yard and shed cleanouts in one trip. See our shed removal guide for details on structure removal.
  • Concrete and masonry. Old pavers, broken concrete, and masonry from demolished patios or walkways. Heavy material, priced accordingly.

Yard waste pricing in DFW

Yard waste pricing follows the same volume-based model as other junk removal: how much space it takes in the truck. Light organic debris like brush and leaves loads fast and prices accordingly. Heavy material like concrete, logs, or old fencing prices higher because of weight and loading time.

A moderate brush pile and some lawn equipment might run $150 to $250. A combined yard and shed cleanout with fencing debris could run $300 to $500. Call and describe what you have. We price on the phone.

City yard waste pickup vs. a crew

Grapevine and most DFW cities offer yard waste pickup as part of their waste service, but it typically applies to small quantities placed at the curb in approved containers or bags. Large brush piles, construction debris, old fencing, and equipment are usually outside the scope of city pickup. When the volume exceeds what the city will take, or when you need it gone this week rather than waiting on a scheduled collection date, a junk crew is the practical answer.

Best time for DFW yard cleanouts

Spring and fall are the best windows in North Texas. Spring gives you access before summer heat makes outdoor work brutal. Fall clears summer debris before winter. We do year-round yard waste removal, but if you have flexibility, early morning slots in spring and fall are the most comfortable for everyone. Summer jobs are done early in the day before temperatures climb.
